8. People usually become more open towards sex in the journey. Even you’re normally timid woman for casual sex, now you’ll be reckless. That’s what happened to me. What sweet memories. Well, let the past stay in the past. In the novel, the protagonist, Evan, backed away from casual sex because of his former disappointed love, meanwhile, his other six classmates enjoyed it. The story took place in romantic France which made every sexual encounter reasonable. The author conveyed the beauty of sex and more. He elevated the readability of the story with diverse knowledges like gastronomy, horticulture and painting.
   Unlike the sex of male chauvinism in the other novels, the Erotic Journey of the Seven Graduates tends to satisfy women’s desire. You can notice this concept in many chapters. I think this is not common in erotic novels.
   You know, actually the structure of the story was well designed with the integration of French sexual jungle. But for me, the fly in the ointment is that the story ends when the seven protagonists left France. Also, the passage where Evan met his first love again was kind of rushed, since he was so upset due to her betrayal, I think it’s more reasonable if the author writes more plots to foreshadow their reunion.

Those readers who simply expect to read an erotic novel might be surprised by the Erotic Journey of The Seven Graduates, because this book isn’t only about lust, but also agricultural knowledge, humanities, geography, fine arts, architecture, entrepreneurship, and business thinking. Each topic was completely interpreted, explained, and freed of the old frame of erotic novels. Especially the description of French culture and customs were captivating. Besides, the lascivious scenes which made me blush and heart beating, reading this novel also enriched me so much knowledge.
    The chapter of the sexology seminar is refreshing. I found the cure for premature ejaculation and the classification of sexual pleasure very innovative. In the seminar, the lecturer also mentioned people could find their best match by level of lust and he believed if people find their partner by this classification, their relationship will be perfect. By the way, Serwer’s affectionate sex in the novel itched me for a try. It was narrated explicitly. With undisguised but not lewd narration, the author described the sexual affairs like nudist camp, sexual party on the cruise, throuple relationship and the sexual graduation prom, etc. Even I’ve ever tried the same stuff, the story fulfilled my fantasies.

16. I find many discussions incredible. Although I couldn’t imagine it to be a reality, it did get me thinking if a monogamous society turns many couples into family members rather than lovers! When humans’ innate sexual needs are suppressed, many physical and psychological illnesses will manifest. My God! Is it true that a sexless life will cause such a huge impact? While reading the story, I was also exposed to the author’s viewpoint. Although the theory mentioned in the story is just academic research, it may help those sexless couples identify their problems.
    The discussion also mentioned Freud’s critic on civilization about how it brings unpleasant results to the modern society. I was quite shocked to read that. I find it hard to engaging in an extra marital behavior without hurting other people. Women are creatures of emotion and cannot accept a fuck buddy that wants only sex.
    I agree with the study about how having a satisfaction sex life affects one’s hormones. I also think the description is accurate that sex will increase the volume of oxygen entering the lungs. The fiction has an authentic description of cause and effect, so I find it easy to accept the author’s viewpoints. The novel is indeed wonderful and full of new ideas and concepts.

20. This is my first time reading an erotic novel; I couldn’t believe how engrossed I was. The description of the action, emotion, and flirtation was delivered through words of imagination, tension, and feelings. The exciting and stimulating atmosphere was more visual than watching a movie, as if drawing the audience into the scene. In the section which Evan was massaging Deneuve, I could feel his nervousness when he was asked to take off her clothes. Although I am a woman, I could feel a man’s desire in that moment and I was looking forward to what was going to happen next. In the section when Evan gently massaged Deneuve’s naked body, I followed her emotion and felt nervous and excited. The section where Deneuve was so aroused and horny from the massage also captured the readers’ hearts. The depiction of her gorgeous body was especially alluring; male readers must be so aroused simply by reading the description of her!
    The ending mentioned that sexual satisfaction could get a woman stuck on a man. What was the glue? Did the author mean sex or love? If he meant sex, that felt like he was materializing women! I would like to know which one he was talking about and what study he was basing his idea on.
    Overall, I like this fiction. Evan a woman like me wouldn’t get offended reading it!
